About us and how we make our material

We are not a test centre and we are not affiliated with Cambridge. You prepare here and take the exam at an official centre.

• We are not a test centre. The official exam is taken at an authorised centre.
• We have no link with Cambridge. We do not use their material or their texts.
• We are independent preparation. You practise here and sit the exam where it is offered.

• Everything is original. The texts, questions and situations were written for this site. Nothing comes from Cambridge or from another academy.
• The format is measured against Cambridge. Levels, number of options and the length of the texts and scripts follow the two Linguaskill technical documents from October 2025, one for Reading and one for Listening. An automatic test checks every task each time the material changes.
• Exam facts carry a source and a date. The minutes, the 140 to 210 scale and the results come from the Cambridge website, and each page says where and when it was checked. The task specification was checked word for word on 24 October 2026.
• The right answer is not always in the same place. We spread it by hand and a test keeps watch.
• The level of each task is set by hand. It has not been calibrated with real students’ answers, which is why scores are always approximate.

• An official score. The score you see is our own estimate: Cambridge does not publish how it turns correct answers into its scale.
• Pronunciation feedback. Writing and speaking are marked automatically from text, so they do not judge how you sound.
